Viva Chicken - St George, UT - 1183 E 100 S

 This is my second post. Like I said in the first, my goal is to be straight and to the point.

I LOVE Viva Chicken. It is so delicious. My wife just got leftovers the first time and wasn't real impressed. I admit they don't keep that well (much better the day of). 

It took me a while to get her to love it too, but now she does (the Chicken soup really helped with that)

Here are some of the things that I love

1, the sauce. Yellow mild sauce. It is so, so good. I'm not big on spicy food. I don't like hot. This is so flavorful, though, and has just enough kick for me. I put it on everything - the rice, the chicken, the sweet potato fries. If you like spicier, there are several delicious sauces to choose from

2, the chicken soup. It is so amazing. It is so chock full of delicious stuff - chicken, rice, diced bell peppers, green onions. I love, love this soup. It tastes healthy and I just can't get enough of it.

3, the sweet potato fries. This is probably the thing that is least good on the second day. You've gotta finish 'em up on day one (which usually isn't a problem).

4, the fried rice is so, so good. It is similar to the soup because of all the yummy vegetables in it - vegetables that I've never thought of putting in my rice. 

5, the location is just a fun setting... the atmosphere is fun, but it also is still good if you take it to go (and they supply you with paper plates and sauces galore and utensils, which is really nice). But I do like eating there when I can. It's pretty fast service and so, so yummy food.

A few things I don't love

1, the price. It is definitely a little spendy (for me anyway). It helps if you have enough people together so that you can do the full meal. That makes it pretty affordable (especially on Thursdays, when they have a deal, at least at ours).

2, the sides are smaller when you buy a smaller meal. I haven't seen that written anywhere on their menu, but it's definitely true. If you get a whole chicken vs a 1/4th chicken, the sides are noticeably smaller.


That being said, I still love splurging and getting Viva Chicken with all the delicious sides when we have family or friends in town.


So in summary, here are my ratings:

Quality:  9/10

Cleanliness: 9/10

Value: 5/10

 Painted Pony Restaurant I'm not going to pretend to be someone I'm not. This is not my typical restaurant. My wife and I got a gift card to come here, and we made a fun date of it. And it was fun! Purple Mattress - King - Purple 1 (Original)

 My wife and I bought a new mattress earlier this year. We've had it for 11 months now, so we've had a good length of time to try it out. First of all, let me clarify which mattress I'm talking about. Purple has several now. This is their original Purple mattress. Some people call it the Purple 1 because it has 1 inch of Gelflex Grid , while the Purple Hybrid (Purple 2) has 2 inches and Purple 3 has 3 inches and Purple 4 has...  Yes, 4 inches. You know when you've seen a word so many times it starts to look weird... Purple Purple looks weird. Ok, so this is the mattress I'm reviewing. First, I did not pay $1699 for it. My wife saw on Facebook someone in our town who picks up the mattresses that people don't want after their 90 or 100 or 180 or 360 day trial, and then resells them. Red Fort Cuisine of India - 148 S 1470 E - St George, UT

 Red Fort is a really authentic Indian Restaurant with really authentically delicious Indian food. Location: https://g.page/red-fort-cuisine-of-india?share The atmosphere is really fun, with the decor and tables and dress of the servers and staff and overhead ceiling fans all adding to the experience. I have never been here and not had a server who is actually Indian, which is also really cool. Good 1, as mentioned above, the decor and atmosphere are just really cool. I believe this building used to be a church (someone correct me if I'm wrong), and it has some cool tall windows that are used really artfully in the restaurant.
