Brody's Mexican Restaurant - 1166 S Sage Drive suite C - Cedar City, UT

My wife and I both speak Spanish and love Hispanic culture.
We both lived in El Salvador as missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for 18 months and 2 years, respectively.
And we love Mexican food (although not super spicy food... Salvadoreño food is quite "bland" compared to Mexican).
My aunt, who is a long-time Cedar City-an, recommended this place to us as strongly as she could. In fact, she told us, "my kids know that at my funeral there's going to be Brody's with green sauce."
After going to eat there, I let her know that we will not miss her funeral :)
Anyway, if you're like me, you try to find authentic Mexican - not Taco Bell or Del Taco.
And Brody's may not sound like an authentic Mexican name.
But it is an authentic Mexican restaurant.
It is named after the owner's son, Brody.
Good
1, fajitas. Oh, so good. Although I always wish they brought you more tortillas (not just at Brody's, but every place I've ever had fajitas). But the chicken and steak fajitas I had were so, so good.
2, drinks. The horchata that my wife and I had was authentic and delicious.
3, the design and atmosphere inside the restaurant is fun and very well done. It feels very authentic.
Bad
The location is not ideal. It's kind of tucked in a strip mall. But they've done a great job with the space they have! As I understand, this is the first brick and mortar building they've been in as it started as a food truck. But fairly easy to find and get to and plenty of parking.
Price-wise, this was a moderately priced meal with generous sized plates.
I must say... I didn't love the green sauce on the enchilada as much as I thought I would. I'll have to try it again on something else.
In summary:
Taste: 8/10
Speed: 6/10
Quality: 7/10
Cleanliness: 6/10
Value: 7/10
